Life along the Suwannee River is quiet, moving to the slow rhythm of Old Florida.
Follow the Boardwalk through The Hideaway Hammock to the river bank. Wander down the Riverside Trail out to The Outpost. A secluded spot, tucked into a quiet corner of our 100-acre property. Pack a picnic, cast a line, watch for wildlife, take a dip, settle into a good book, or simply sit awhile and take it all in.

Cool off under the Florida sun in our refreshing swimming pool, or read a book in the shade of a palm tree.

The gathering heart of The Hideaway. Inspired by the local waters and decorated with native fish species, the Pine Lodge is a welcoming place to slow down and settle in. Play a round of billiards or table shuffle board, gather for a board game or puzzle, join in winter seasonal Activites, or simply share a cup of coffee and conversation with fellow campers.

Cast a line or simply sit by the water's edge. Our spring-fed pond offers a quiet sanctuary for morning reflection, catch-and-release fishing, or beautiful sunsets over the campground.

A nature-inspired playground built from timber harvested right here on the property. Kids can climb aboard the play boat and imagine adventures along the river, then swing, climb, balance, and explore their way across monkey bars, balance beams, seesaws and more. It's simple outdoor play, designed to spark imagination, encourage adventure, and let kids be kids in the woods.

Follow the boardwalk through The Hideaway Hammock, then hike along the Suwannee River to The Outpost—the furthest point on our property and our favorite place for a picnic. Tucked away beneath the trees, this peaceful riverside spot invites you to unpack lunch, cast a line, or simply settle in and let the river set the pace.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient, our Bath House offers separate men’s and women’s facilities and prioritizes cleanliness. You’ll also find coin-operated laundry on-site, making it easy to freshen up, wash a load, and get back to enjoying your stay.

Stop by our rustic General Store for camping essentials, fishing supplies, and Hideaway merch to take a little of camp home with you. Treat yourself to ice cream or candy, then settle into a porch rocker and enjoy the slower pace of Old Florida.

Our upcoming Backyard Games is all about simple, old-fashioned fun. Challenge your crew to horseshoes, corn hole, outdoor darts, or slow things down with a classic game of croquet on the lawn. No screens, no schedules, just a little friendly competition and plenty of time together in the great outdoors.

When the sun fades, gather beneath the warm glow of the garden lights for live music from local artists, movie nights under the stars, and cozy campfires. On select autumn and winter weekends, pull up a chair, settle in by the fire, and enjoy the kind of evenings that make you want to stay awhile.
Our campsites are thoughtfully woven into the landscape, with plenty of room to settle in and make yourself at home. Choose from oversized pull-throughs, waterfront sites, sunny sites, or shaded sites beneath the pines and oaks, with options for both short-term and monthly stays. For those who like to keep things simple, we also offer primitive tent camping and tent sites with power.
Here, nature is our favorite amenity. Spend slow days exploring the Riverside Trail along the Suwannee, watching for wildlife, or simply enjoying the quiet. As evening settles in, gather around the campfire, look up at a sky full of stars, and experience camping the way it was meant to be—unhurried, uncomplicated, and close to nature.
